26th January 2016 8:57 AM
The EuroMillions jackpot has soared to an astonishing £87 million (€115 million) for this evening’s draw as players in all nine participating countries pick up tickets in a bid to become the first winner of the top prize in 2016. The last time the jackpot was won was on Friday 18th December, when a single ticket holder from Spain scooped €83.2 million (£60.6 million).

There are such great prizes up for grabs that you don’t even have to pocket the jackpot to be able to fulfil your dreams. In the last draw on Friday 22nd January there were eight players, including three from the UK, who earned a gigantic £193,348 (€259,148) each after matching five main numbers plus one Lucky Star.
