12th June 2015 11:01 PM
A single ticket holder from the UK has just snapped up a life-changing £93.3 million (€129.2 million) EuroMillions jackpot, putting an end to a series of four rollovers that included the Superdraw on Friday 5th June. Over 53.3 million entries were submitted for tonight’s EuroMillions draw as players dreamed of grabbing an almost incomprehensible sum of money.
The winning numbers are 5, 8, 10, 11 and 37 with Lucky Stars 7 and 9. Eight players, two of whom were from the UK, matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to bag £246,326 (€319,955) each, while another ten ticket holders walked away with £65,686 (€85,321) when they matched all five main numbers drawn. The remaining 4.6 million prize winners pocketed prizes worth between £2.90 (€3.80) for matching two main numbers and £2,692 (€3,496) for matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. You can find a full prize breakdown and the winning Millionaire Maker code at the dedicated EuroMillions Results page.
Out of all the participating countries, the UK had the most winners, coming in at an astounding 1.3 million, and the largest prize pool, which clocked in at £100.2 million. The fortunate UK EuroMillions jackpot winner has completely eclipsed Richard and Angela Maxwell’s £53.1 million payout, rocketing past them to sixth on the UK lottery rich list. It’s no joke - UK EuroMillions fans are on a real winning streak!
The next jackpot will be worth £10 million (€15 million), and tickets can be purchased for the EuroMillions draw on Tuesday 16th June either online at the Play EuroMillions page or in person from any of the countless authorised retailers found throughout participating countries.
