While there was no EuroMillions jackpot winner in sight during Friday’s game, which ended in a rollover, over 3.4 million participants had a very lucky day indeed as they snapped up great cash prizes. The winning numbers were 4, 5, 18, 22 and 23 with Lucky Stars 1 and 3.

Eight participants, one of whom was from the UK, matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to pick up £178,147 (€229,022) each, and twelve ticket holders won £39,588 (€50,893) when they matched all five main numbers drawn. All other winners in the main game snagged cash amounts worth between £2.70 (€3.50) for matching two main numbers and £2,699 (€3,470) for matching four main numbers and two Lucky Stars. French winning ticket holders vastly outpaced winners from other countries, with 984,365 participants netting prizes. The UK came in second place with 724,114 winners, while Spain took third place with 609,117 winners. Over 38 million combinations were entered into Friday’s game compared to just 21 million last Tuesday.
