EuroMillions Results for Friday 1st April 2016

EuroMillions players had the opportunity to chase a staggering jackpot of £31.9 million (€39.8 million) on Friday 1st April, but the top prize eluded the clutches of everyone to roll over for the fourth game in a row. It was still a tremendous night for the 2.3 million ticket holders from across the continent who pocketed cash rewards, and there were several participants who landed life-changing amounts.

The winning line was 2, 16, 23, 25 and 49 with Lucky Stars 6 and 9.  Five players, including two from Spain and two from France, matched five main numbers plus one Lucky Star to net €289,093 each, while the other prizes won ranged from £2.90 (€4.10) for matching two main numbers to €160,607 for matching five main numbers. Check out the EuroMillions Results page to find a full prize breakdown, plus details of the winning Millionaire Maker code which has made one UK ticket holder £1 million richer.

All nine participating nations enjoyed success but top billing belonged to Spain in terms of the amount of money won, as €4.4 million was shared between 537,932 players. The UK  bagged a total of £2.7 million but actually had more winners, making it a great night for 570,288 ticket holders from the country.

The jackpot will now grow to £37 million (€46 million) for the next draw on Tuesday night, giving players from London to Lisbon another chance to win an astonishing eight-figure sum. You have to be in it to win it, so if you fancy getting involved then play EuroMillions online or by going to an authorised retailer in any of the participating countries. Best of luck!
