13th October 2015 10:32 PM
Two ticket holders, one from the UK and one from Austria, have split a rollover EuroMillions jackpot worth £23 million (€30.8 million), each netting £11.5 million (€15.4 million) in the process. UK players have been on an incredible run of EuroMillions success this year, with tonight’s lucky Brit becoming the ninth ticket holder from the country to scoop a jackpot win. Their victory was preceded by that of another UK EuroMillions winner on Friday 2nd October.
The winning numbers are 12, 15, 26, 29 and 47 with Lucky Stars 3 and 11. A single player from the UK won £731,368 (€973,795) after matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star, while another nine participants matched five main numbers to snap up £27,087 (€36,064) each. More than 1.5 million other players in the main game boosted their bank accounts with prizes ranging from £2.90 (€3.80) for matching two main numbers and £3,482 (€4,636) for matching four main numbers and two Lucky Stars. For a full prize breakdown and the winning Millionaire Maker code, along with other important details, visit the EuroMillions Results page for tonight’s game.
The UK is fast closing in on Portugal on the EuroMillions jackpot leaderboard, with 55 to their 57. However, there’s still a long way to go until Brits officially overtake France and Spain, who have 74 and 78 jackpot winners respectively. Have a look at the EuroMillions Winners page to learn more about the life-changing windfalls won by 326 ticket holders since 2004.
Friday’s EuroMillions top prize has reset to £11 million (€15 million), with entries available online or from authorised retailers. All you need to do is fill out those tickets, cross your fingers and wait for the results to see if you can keep the winning streak going! Good luck.
