EuroMillions Results for Tuesday 16th December 2014

With the week before Christmas well underway, many EuroMillions fans hoped that tonight’s £31.4 million (€39.5 million) jackpot would be the answer to all their gift-buying woes. The top prize for the popular lottery game had rolled over since Tuesday 2nd December, when a French player grabbed a £57.8 million (€72.9 million) windfall. This evening, a single ticket holder from Spain has won the top prize to secure themselves a payout that will make this festive season extremely merry and very bright.

Tonight’s winning numbers are 3, 7, 12, 13 and 25 with Lucky Stars 5 and 8. The jackpot winner isn’t the only ticket holder celebrating tonight; an additional five players, all outside of the UK, matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win €222,312 each, while 11 participants snapped up £23,584 (€33,683) each.

The remaining players won cash prizes worth between £2.20 (€3.20) for matching two main numbers and £990.10 (€1,414) for matching four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. One UK participant has just won £1 million after they matched the Millionaire Maker code of ZGL268466 and a French ticket holder has bagged €1 million on My Million for matching the winning code of OQ 574 2530.
