EuroMillions Results for Tuesday 5th April 2016

A massive EuroMillions jackpot of £37.7 million (€46.8 million) attracted a huge amount of interest on Tuesday 5th April, and over 2 million players ended up pocketing prizes on another thrilling evening. Nobody quite managed to match the complete winning line of 3, 5, 9, 19 and 40 with Lucky Stars 2 and 5, but many ticket holders did snare some huge wins.

Four participants, including two from France, one from Spain and one from the UK, matched five main numbers plus one Lucky Star to win £187,582 (€265,011) each. The other prizes spanned between £2.60 (€3.80) for matching two main numbers and £25,011 (€35,334) for matching five main numbers. Take a look at the EuroMillions Results page for a full prize breakdown, as well as details of the night’s winning Millionaire Maker code which is worth £1 million to the lucky UK player with a matching ticket.

Spain narrowly came out on top of all the participating countries as €2.9 million was divided between 440,717 ticket holders. It was also a great night for France as 395,682 players shared a prize pool of €2.9 million, while in the UK there were 426,688 winners who scooped a total of £1.9 million.

The jackpot has now rolled over five times in a row, pushing the top prize up to a tremendous £45 million (€57 million) for Friday’s draw. If you want to grab a fortune you will have to pick up a ticket, and EuroMillions can either be played online or by visiting authorised retailers in any of the participating countries. Good luck!
