The winning ticket was purchased from a retailer on Plaza de la Rosa in the province of Almuñécar, Granada and the win makes the ticket holder Spain’s fourth largest jackpot winner in EuroMillions history. In total, Friday’s results revealed that over 5.2 million players won a prize, including nine ticket holders who matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win €328,771 / £227,257 each. A further 24 players matched the five main numbers to win €41,096 / £28,407 each while 126 ticket holders matched four numbers and two Lucky Stars to each win €3,913 / £2,705. A further 2,463 players won €175 / £121 each by matching four numbers and one Lucky Star. There were over three million players who won prizes in the lower prize tiers, ranging from €3.60 / £2.50 to €77.10 / £53.30.
In addition to the winners in the main draw, one UK ticket holder matched the Millionaire Raffle number QMY376365 to win £1 million. A full prize breakdown from Friday’s draw can be found on the EuroMillions Results page.
Following Friday’s top prize win, the jackpot resets to €15 / £12 million for Tuesday’s draw.
