Father Vows to Treat Family After £247,513 EuroMillion Win

“Amazing and totally life-changing!” The words of a Andrew Nabb as he collected a EuroMillions prize worth £247,513 from Lottery HQ. The 33-year-old secured the six-figure sum after becoming one of three ticket holders to match five main numbers and one Lucky Star in the draw on Friday 3rd February, and has already set his sights on a better life for his family.

The single father from Bury, who purchased a winning Lucky Dip ticket from his local Bargain Booze, claimed that the win could not have come at a better time, as he had been in and out of work for the past 12 months. “Not only is it life-changing for me – it is life-changing for my family too,” Andrew told National Lottery officials, before adding that the money will allow him to treat his three children to the life they deserve.

As well as organising a family trip to Tenerife, the lucky winner is planning on using his newfound wealth to purchase the car of his dreams, an Audi A3. However, Andrew will have to overcome one of life’s hurdles before getting behind the wheel and pass his driving test: “The win will enable me to pay for driving lessons – something I never believed I would be able to do,” he smiled. “I don’t know many people who can say their first ever vehicle will be an Audi. But, thanks to The National Lottery, mine will be.”

The former electrical engineer also believes the money will allow him to enjoy the finer things in life and already has his heart set on buying a new three-bedroom house for his family: “My kids are my world. I’ll do anything I can to give them a helping hand in life, starting with the perfect home to grow up in,” the winner beamed. And the spending doesn’t stop there for the merry Mancunian: “My friend’s just launched his clothing line Infinity North and they’ve got some really nice gear so I’ve splashed out and got myself a new wardrobe and trainers.”

Buoyed by his big win, Andrew has vowed to continue playing EuroMillions, clearly sensing greater things could be about to come his way: “I’ve won once, I can win again. Lightning can strike twice,” he joyously explained.

If you would like to join Andrew in living the high life, tickets for tonight’s £39 million draw are available to buy online or from any authorised retailer in participating countries. Best of luck!
