Four Jackpot Tickets

Four EuroMillions players matched all five main numbers and both Lucky Star numbers on Friday 23 May to share the jackpot of €15,000,000. The winning numbers were 5, 9, 19, 21 and 38, and the Lucky Stars were 1 and 7.

Two of the four winning tickets (each of which is worth €3,750,000) were purchased in Spain, one in France and one in Portugal. This is the joint second highest number of EuroMillions jackpot winners, so the record of five winners that was set on Friday 5 October, 2007 still stands. In that draw, three of the winning tickets were bought in France, one in Spain and one in Portugal, so it looks like these three countries are particularly lucky when it comes to sharing jackpots!

In addition to the four jackpot tickets, twenty-five European tickets managed to match the five main numbers and one of the two Lucky Stars to win a second tier prize of €109,875 each. Thirty-six tickets, including one in Belgium, matched the five main numbers only to win €22,272.
