France Scores Fifth EuroMillions Win of 2013

A ticket purchased in France won the EuroMillions jackpot outright on Friday, making it the fifth French EuroMillions jackpot win of 2013. The latest success was worth a massive €132,486,744 (£112,017,541) to the owner of the ticket that was able to match all of the numbers drawn, so well done to the player who succeeded in such great style. Congratulations should also be sent to those who won a consolation prize of some sort – there were 4,397,487 prizes won in total on Friday, making the holiday weekend extra special for all concerned.

The EuroMillions results on Friday 29 March were 13, 30, 43, 44 and 46, and the numbers 05 and 09 were drawn as the Lucky Stars. Five tickets matched all five of the main numbers as well as one of the Lucky Star numbers to land a second-tier consolation prize worth €571,697 (£395,567) each, and nine tickets won €105,870 (£73,253) each by matching the five main numbers only.

100 tickets matched four main numbers and both of the Lucky Star numbers to win €4,764 (£3,296) each, 1,685 tickets won €247 (£171) each by matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star, and all other tickets won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers. Of course, one UK player won a separate prize of £1 million in the Millionaire Raffle game, and the winning number on Friday was MKY294628.

Two of our most overdue main numbers made an appearance in the latest draw, and those were the numbers 43 and 46. Anyone who had followed the highlighted numbers blindly would have won a prize at the lowest tier, so the overdue numbers have really been quite useful in recent draws.

The next EuroMillions jackpot this Tuesday 2 April will be worth €15 million (around £12 million) so if you want to take the overdue numbers for a spin once more, the most overdue main numbers are currently 07, 41, 47, 48 and 18, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 04 and 02.
