9th June 2011 10:34 AM
The EuroMillions jackpot just can’t seem to stop rolling over lately, but players around the world will certainly be hoping to stop it in its tracks this Friday 10 June. The EuroMillions results on Tuesday 7 June were 06, 25, 36, 38 and 40, and the two Lucky Star numbers were 04 and 10. No player matched all of those numbers, so the jackpot this Friday will be worth a staggering €68 million (around £60 million), and anyone who buys even a single ticket for the game has a chance of winning it!
Three players came close to winning the Tuesday EuroMillions jackpot by matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star, but that wasn’t quite close enough. Of course, those players did win a second-tier consolation prize of €421,132 (around £282,941) each, so they certainly didn’t leave the game empty-handed. Another six players matched five main numbers only to win €70,189 (around £47,157) each.
39 players won €5,399 (around £3,627) each by matching four main numbers plus both Lucky Stars, and 673 players won €274 (around £183) each by matching four main numbers plus one Lucky Star. All told, the Tuesday EuroMillions game awarded more than 1.8 million prizes.
In the UK a special Millionaire Raffle ‘Super-Raffle’ draw made 15 players £1 million richer. The winning Millionaire Raffle numbers for last Tuesday were as follows:
