Online EuroMillions Winners Opt For Partial Publicity

As EuroMillions players across the continent look forward to the chance to win a jackpot of £10 million (€15 million) in tonight’s draw, a couple of recent big winners have been congratulated for earning life-changing amounts of money after buying their tickets online. All UK lottery winners can decide whether to remain anonymous, disclose their full identity or opt for partial publicity and release certain details.

The partial publicity option is favoured by many players and a man who picked up £259,301 in the draw on 7th July has now come forward after matching all five main numbers plus one Lucky Star. Known as Mr A, the lucky winner is a decorator from Bury St Edmunds who celebrated with an expensive breakfast and is now looking forward to paying off his mortgage. Quoted in the East Anglian Daily Times, a National Lottery spokesperson said: “Huge congratulations to Mr A for winning this fantastic prize without even touching a ticket. After a few simple clicks he has become a big winner and can now look forward to living life mortgage free.”

A Kent man who bagged £1 million as part of the EuroMillions Mega Friday draw on 29th May has also chosen to reveal some details about his identity. The medical researcher, who also won a three-night VIP trip to London, is known as Mr N and is now planning to splash out on a new car. He has also been congratulated on his success, with a National Lottery spokesperson happy to enthuse over the benefits of playing online. “With many people leading busy lives playing online is becoming increasingly popular. It means you can make sure your lucky numbers are always in the draw and your ticket is always checked,” said the lottery official in the Sevenoaks Chronicle.

You can find out more here about playing EuroMillions online, ahead of what promises to be another thrilling draw tonight. There is also the option to get hold of tickets from authorised retailers in any of the participating countries if you prefer, but you have to enter to be in with a chance of winning. The jackpot of €24.9 million was snapped up by a single ticket holder from France in Friday evening’s Mega Friday draw, which also saw ten UK players land £1 million each plus a luxury trip to New York.
