There were five players who came just one Lucky Star number short of sharing the jackpot spoils, so each of those had to settle for a consolation prize worth €321,779 (£218,570). Eight players won €67,037 (£45,535) each by matching the five main numbers only, and the owners of 112 tickets matched four of the main numbers plus both of the Lucky Star numbers to land a prize of €2,394 (£1,626) each.
1,386 tickets won €169 (£114) each by matching four main numbers plus one Lucky Star number, and 2,203 tickets matched four main numbers only for a prize of €106 (£72) each. Another 2,670,820 tickets won smaller prizes of up to €43 (£29) each by matching fewer numbers, and in the United Kingdom one player won a separate prize of £1,000,000 in the Millionaire Raffle game. The winning number on Friday was VMV563125.
In other European lottery news, the jackpots in the EuroJackpot and SuperEnalotto games on Friday and Saturday both rolled over. The top prize in the next EuroJackpot draw this Friday 3 May will therefore be worth around €13 million, and the top prize in the next SuperEnalotto draw this Tuesday 30 April will be worth around €26.2 million. Add both of those jackpots to the €15 million up for grabs in the midweek EuroMillions game and lottery fans have three fantastic opportunities to try and land themselves a spectacular win.
