Portuguese Ticket Scoops EuroMillions Jackpot

One Portuguese lottery ticket scooped the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 25 November, making the lucky owner €35,062,896 (£30,126,040) richer than they were before. The EuroMillions results which changed the life of that winner forever were 14, 19, 26, 28 and 34, with 05 and 08 being drawn as the Lucky Star numbers. There were more than 3.51 million EuroMillions prizes won in total, and in the UK an additional 18 prizes of £1 million each were awarded via the special Millionaire Raffle game that we mentioned in our previous news item.

11 tickets matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win €179,533 (£120,541) each, and 9 others won €73,143 (£49,109) each after matching four of the five main numbers plus both Lucky Stars. There were 118 winning tickets at the fourth-tier prize level, and each of those won €2,789 (£1,873).

The Millionaire Raffle game now reverts to normal rules, so just one player will win £1 million in each draw until Friday 23 December, when another special draw will pay out 25 prizes of £1 million each.
