In the UK, an enhanced edition of the Millionaire Maker raffle will take place, with 10 ticket holders guaranteed to receive £1 million.
The Millionaire Maker usually awards one prize of £1 million. You are automatically entered into the raffle as it is included in the cost of a ticket. If your code - consisting of four letters and five numbers - is an exact match for the winning code that is drawn, you’ll receive the seven-figure payout.
Special draws work in exactly the same way, except that more winning codes are announced. This gives you a significantly better chance of becoming a millionaire!
€250,000 Must Be Won in Ireland
In Ireland, a month-long promotion will be held throughout May, with one lucky player guaranteed to win €250,000 as part of each EuroMillions draw. The prizes will be won through the Ireland Only Raffle.
The Ireland Only Raffle sees 10 players win €5,000 in every draw. However, from 2nd May until 30th May, an extra quarter of a million euros will be paid out every Tuesday and Friday. The 10 Ireland Only Raffle winners in each draw will be entered into a separate draw, and one will be chosen at random to receive the additional prize.
With nine EuroMillions draws in May, it means that more than €2 million will be given away to Irish ticket holders over the course of the month.
