Two UK EuroMillions Prizes Due to Expire within a Month

EuroMillions officials are calling for all UK players to check their old tickets as two significant prizes are set to expire within a month. The two tickets are nearing the end of their 180 day validity period, after which they can no longer be claimed.

The first unclaimed prize is worth £68,541 and was won in the draw held on Friday 6th December 2013 when a player matched five of the main numbers drawn. The winner purchased the ticket in the City of Westminster but only has until Wednesday 4th June to claim their prize. Click here to view the winning numbers from the draw in question.

The second unclaimed prize is worth a much larger £1 million and was won on 31st December 2013 in the special UK Millionaire Raffle draw which saw 25 prizes of £1 million given out. Purchased in the Warwick District, the ticket is valid until Sunday 29th June. All 25 winning raffle codes can be found here.

If the winners fail to claim their prize before the allotted date the money will be added to the National Lottery’s Good Causes Fund. The fund donates in excess of £33 million each week to a variety of schemes and projects across the UK, all designed to improve the lives and communities of local people.

With 28% of revenue raised from ticket sales and all unclaimed prizes going to the Good Causes Fund, over £31 billion has been raised, and over 420,000 grants awarded, since its inception in 1994.
