Two Winners Share EuroMillions Jackpot
18th June 2012 10:29 AM
Two tickets shared the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 15 June after beating odds of 1 in 116.5 million to match all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars. The jackpot had rolled over from the midweek draw on Tuesday, so the two winning tickets share €26,828,456 (£21,629,100). That gives each winner just over €13.4 million, which is only a little less than the €15 million offered by a non-rollover EuroMillions game, so the owners of the lucky tickets – which were purchased in France and Spain – will no doubt be very happy with their reward.
The EuroMillions results on Friday were 10, 22, 27, 38 and 48, along with the Lucky Star numbers 03 and 07. None of those numbers were ‘most overdue’ to be drawn according to our EuroMillions Statistics page, and so the most overdue numbers are unchanged. That means the main numbers to look out for are 42, 07, 23, 18 and 45, and the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 04 and 06.
Six tickets matched the five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars to win a consolation prize of €295,711 (£209,152) each, which we think is a great sum for effectively finishing in joint-second place. 17 tickets matched the five main numbers on their own to win €34,790 (£24,606) each and another 131 tickets picked up a prize of €2,257 (£1,597) each after matching four main numbers plus both Lucky Star numbers. There were more than 3.1 million prizes won in total, and the winning Millionaire Raffle number on Friday was PSY036130.
Many players were half-expecting the EuroMillions jackpot to roll over for a second time on Friday, but we are now looking at a brand new jackpot of €15 million (around £12 million) this Tuesday 19 June instead. Play EuroMillions online here and that jackpot could soon be yours!
