UK Player Wins EuroMillions Jackpot On Valentine’s Day

Luck and Love combined last Friday night as EuroMillions hosted its special Valentine’s Day Millionaire Maker draw. Loads of prizes were won on the night, but one lucky player, from the UK, picked up a grand total of £65.3 million!

What Was The Valentine's Day Draw?

To celebrate Valentine’s, EuroMillions created a special draw which gave away 14 £1 million prizes as well as 14 luxury trips to the Maldives - a clever way to mark the date of the occasion!

The best part of this was that these prizes could be won in addition to the regular EuroMillions jackpot, which at that point stood as £65 million (or €78 million). We have now found that one ticket-holder, located somewhere in the UK, did just that!

This is the first time EuroMillions has been won since the 24th of January - also going to a UK player who won a total of £83 million!

The Senior Winners’ Advisor at Allwyn, Andy Carter, commented on Friday's win saying “Wow, it’s not just ‘love’ that’s in the air this Valentine’s Day, it’s ‘luck’ too.”

The winning numbers for Friday's draw were 4, 14, 31, 36 and 38 with two Lucky Stars of 3 and 10. While there was only one player who matched all seven, many players across Europe still won at lower prize levels.

There were a total of 2,207,846 winners on the night, so make sure you check your ticket to see what you might have won!

*Update: On Monday the 17th of February the National Lottery confirmed that the EuroMillions Jackpot has now been claimed.

14 Millionaires Made

Now, on to the special Valentine’s Day prizes! There were 14 £1 million prizes up for grabs - 13 more than the regular Millionaire Maker draws. They worked the same as a raffle, as you had to match the code on your EuroMillions ticket to one that was randomly selected.

The 14 that came up were: HVXX35391, HVXZ64951, JTXJ35656, MTXD66106, MVXX07807, TTWX85392, TTXB49420, TVXL10345, TVXM66825, TVZC41873, VVXJ0039, VVXJ08441, XVXN25566, ZTXH30125.

As previously stated, you should check the code printed on your ticket - you don’t want to have £1 million sitting there and not know about it! All prizes must be won within 180 days of the draw - including the anonymous jackpot winner!

On top of all that, the additional 14 luxury trips to the romantic Maldives holiday location were also picked up. This was an option for players who bought two or more EuroMillions lines online.

There were associated draws in all the other participating countries too, and in Ireland another lucky player became a millionaire as part of a special Ireland Only Raffle draw.

The EuroMillions jackpot now resets to £14 million for Tuesday's draw, which you can purchase tickets for online.
