What Would You Do As A EuroMillions Millionaire?

EuroMillions offers eight or nine-figure jackpots in every draw, but many of the lower-level prizes can still make a huge difference and multiple millionaires are created every week thanks to the various supplementary games played in the different participating countries.

Ways To Become A Millionaire

Even if you miss out on the EuroMillions jackpot, you can enjoy a number of special draws for your chance to become a millionaire. UK players have Millionaire Maker and EuroMillions HotPicks, France offers My Million, Spain has El Millon, while players in Portugal can take part in M1lhão. Ireland occasionally holds raffle draws where someone is guaranteed to become a millionaire, and a player from Dublin woke up on St Patrick’s Day with an extra €1 million after winning last Friday’s special prize.

Caribbean Dreams

The winner of the special Ireland Only Raffle prize has already come forward to claim their prize, having bought their Quick Pick ticket at the CostCutter Store in Windy Arbour in Dundrum. The lucky player, a pensioner who has decided to remain anonymous, had no idea as to the extent of his windfall until a shopkeeper told him, and is now looking forward to embarking on a new life ‘in a sunnier climate’.

He said: “I won’t be leaving for good but I’ll be able to spend at least six months of the year abroad. I definitely won’t miss the Irish winters. I have always dreamed of living on one of the islands in the Caribbean but my actual pension did not stretch that far. The €1 million win means that I can escape Irish winters here and live the dream!”

Disney World

Another new millionaire setting their sights on a big trip is Lesley White, a 43-year-old mum from Halifax who came forward this week after winning £1 million on the UK Millionaire Maker on Tuesday 6th March. She is planning to pay off her mortgage, renovate her home and buy a new car, but her daughter’s dream holiday is at the forefront of her mind.

“My daughter has always wanted to go to Walt Disney World and now I can take her and make this dream real,” said Lesley. “I always said to her when I win the lottery I will take you and now I can!"

Give Yourself A Chance

Whether you would take yourself off to the Caribbean, Disney World in Florida or some other exotic location with a big EuroMillions win, you need to land the prize first. The jackpot for the next draw is worth £32 million (€37 million), and you can take part by choosing numbers online or visiting an authorised retailer in one of the participating countries.
