EuroMillions and Mega Friday Results for Friday 26th February 2016

The EuroMillions numbers drawn were 5, 13, 15, 33 and 50 with Lucky Stars 9 and 11. Hopes were high that the top prize would be won for the fourth time this month and the second time in a row, after a UK participant won £24.6 million on Tuesday night, and a Spanish player matched all seven numbers drawn to bag themselves €15 million.

There were also four participants, including one from the UK, who matched five main numbers plus one Lucky Star to win £260,731 (€364,156) each. In total there were over 2.5 million players across the continent who snapped up rewards, with the other prizes ranging from £2.50 (€3.50) for matching two main numbers up to £19,313 (€26,974) for matching five main numbers.

There are always multiple UK millionaires created on the final Friday draw of every month as part of Mega Friday, giving each winner a fabulous non-cash prize as well as a seven-figure windfall.

There will be another edition of Mega Friday in March, but there is no need to wait a month to try and pick up a great prize, as Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw will offer a jackpot of £11 million (€15 million).
