EuroMillions Jackpot Reaches Cap - When Will Record Win Come?

The jackpot had rolled over 16 times in the run-up to the 15/08/25 draw, but the winning numbers – 13, 30, 35, 36, 40 and the Lucky Star numbers 2 and 6 - have yet to be matched. What happens next?

Since nobody won the jackpot this time around, it will continue to increase, and with ticket sales so strong it is estimated to hit its maximum limit of €250 million, an increase of almost €18 million.

This is the third time the jackpot cap has been reached in 2025 so far. Previously this year, a €250 million jackpot has been won twice, once in Austria and once in Ireland. If the jackpot manages to stay at the cap for five draws without being won, the entire jackpot value will be "rolled down" to the prize tiers below, resulting in much better prizes for the lower tiers. This is known as a Must Be Won draw, but by nature, they are few and far between.

Interestingly enough, the €250 million jackpot cap is potentially being increased in 2026, since bigger jackpots are more popular with the fans. These plans are a long way off though, so it remains to be seen.
