EuroMillions Jackpot Soars Past £100 Million For Tonight’s Draw

Whether playing in a syndicate or going it alone, EuroMillions players across the continent will have a chance to grab a monumental £101 million (€144 million) in tonight’s draw. It is the largest jackpot of the year and the highest value the top prize has reached since 24th October 2014, when a single ticket holder from Portugal scooped €190 million.

The jackpot has been rolling over since the Superdraw on Friday 6th November bumped the top prize up to £71.3 million (€100 million), and nobody has managed to match all five main numbers plus both Lucky Stars since Tuesday 13th October, when one player from the UK and another from Austria split £23 million (€30.8 million).

Lots of players have come close to hitting the jackpot in the last few weeks and there have still been some great sums given away, like in the last draw when five participants all became £441,327 (€566,130) richer. Head over to the results section for all the winning numbers and prize breakdowns from the last few months, or archives by year if you want to peer further back in time.

If you are wondering how you can boost your chances of winning this evening’s astonishing jackpot, or even of landing in any of the other prize tiers, then it may be an idea to join a EuroMillions syndicate. Around one in five top lottery prizes in the UK are won by syndicates, and playing in a group means that you can own a share of more tickets without having to splash out all the money yourself on multiple entries. One type of syndicate, for example, will give you 46 chances to win for a cost of just £5.45.

There have been plenty of jackpot-winning syndicates over the years, including the seven Merseyside office workers who scooped £45.5 million in 2009. Groups have struck lucky in other countries as well, like the 15-strong syndicate from the French village of Venelles who pocketed €100 million in 2009.

If you are lucky enough to pick up a fabulous prize in tonight’s draw, you could celebrate by buying the house of your dreams, going on holiday to the most exotic locations in the world and treating your family and friends to a lifetime of financial security. Jackpots of this size do not come around every week, so make sure to buy a ticket by either playing online or visiting an authorised retailer in any of the participating countries, and then check back on Euro-Millions.com straight after the draw for the winning numbers. Good luck!
