EuroMillions Jackpot Won in the UK for the Second Time in a Week

The EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 17th February was won in the UK, with a single ticket scooping £14.5 million (€17 million) by matching the numbers 19, 25, 33, 36 and 48 plus Lucky Stars 2 and 9.

It capped a fantastic week for the UK, after a player from the same country shared £39.9 million (€47.1 million) with a Belgian player on Tuesday night. The latest win consolidates the UK’s place in third on the table of overall EuroMillions winners behind France and Spain, who stand in first and second respectively.

More than 1.7 million players received awards on the night, with other amounts ranging from £3.10 (€4.80) for matching two main numbers to €347,002 for the three players from Belgium, France and Spain who matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star. You can find a full prize breakdown at the Results page.

The UK National Lottery has now confirmed that claims have been staked for both recent jackpot wins. The lucky players can now choose whether to share their good news with the rest of the world, or to remain anonymous.

Tuesday’s EuroMillions jackpot is worth £14 million (€17 million) and players from Cornwall to Cumbernauld will be hoping the UK can make it a hat trick of wins, whilst those from the other eight participating nations attempt to claim some glory for themselves.

You can buy tickets from authorised retailers or, alternatively, choose your numbers online. Good luck.
