EuroMillions Reaches Biggest Jackpot Ever

A rollover on Tuesday has pushed the EuroMillions jackpot up to its largest-ever amount. The top prize is now set to hit its €240 million limit (approximately £201 million) for Friday night’s draw.

Tonight's estimated jackpot:
€17 Million

The new record has been set after a Mega Jackpot of €200 million was put up for grabs in a special Superdraw on Friday 1st December. There were no winners on the night, so it climbed to €218 million (£187 million) for Tuesday’s eagerly-awaited follow-up draw.

The winning numbers on Tuesday 5th December were 4, 6, 20, 24 and 25, with Lucky Stars 5 and 9. More than 3.3 million prizes were paid out, but once again there was not a single ticket that matched all the numbers.

The eight players who came closest - in the Match 5 + 1 Lucky Star prize tier - each landed €146,494 (£100,913). Three of these winners were from France, two from the UK, and one each from Portugal, Belgium and Austria. See a full breakdown of prizes.

Excitement will now grow for Friday’s historic draw, with ticket sales expected to push the jackpot all the way up to its €240 million cap.

This paves the way for the biggest win of all time, surpassing the €230 million (£195 million) that went to an anonymous UK ticket holder in July 2022. Following that win the maximum jackpot was raised from €230 million to €240 million.

The record for the highest jackpot ever has been broken several times over the last few years, since the previous cap of €190 million was replaced with a moveable limit (which increases by €10 million after every time it is hit).

What Happens Now?

If there is a winner on Friday night, they can celebrate their magic moment and look forward to a bright future with €240 million in the bank. The jackpot would reset to €17 million for the following draw, and the cap would be increased to €250 million.

If nobody wins, the jackpot cannot climb any higher than €240 million during its current run. Any extra money that would normally be added on top will instead go to the Match 5 + 1 Lucky Star prize fund.

The jackpot can only stay at its cap for a maximum of four draws, before it then has to be won in the following draw. If nobody wins in that final draw (the fifth draw at €240 million), the entire jackpot will roll down and be split between players in the prize tier below. Make sure you don’t miss out on this opportunity to play for such a colossal jackpot. Choose your numbers online or go to an authorised retailer in one of the participating countries.
