5th January 2016 10:41 PM
An attractive jackpot of £36.6 million (€49.9 million) was on offer in tonight’s EuroMillions draw, the result of several rollovers since the top prize was last won on Friday 18th December. However, no player became the first EuroMillions winner of 2016 tonight, as the jackpot rolled over once again.
This evening’s winning numbers are 6, 10, 31, 36 and 39 with Lucky Stars 6 and 10. Two players, both of whom were from France, matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to pick up €585,428 each. Another two participants, both from the continent, each bagged €195,142 when they matched the five main numbers drawn.
A massive 50 participants each won £2,978 (€3,902) when they matched four main numbers and both Lucky Stars. The rest of the 1.7 million prizes won in the main game were worth between £3.20 (€4.30) for matching two main numbers and £209.40 (€274.50) for matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star. Spain was firmly in third place as 380,641 ticket holders pocketed a total of €2.8 million.
The EuroMillions jackpot has now reached an estimated value of £44 million (€60 million) for the upcoming draw on Friday.
