EuroMillions Results Live: Tuesday’s £155 Million Draw

The EuroMillions draw on Tuesday 17th September had an estimated jackpot of £155 million (€173 million). Recap all the action as the EuroMillions results came in.

22:00 - Thanks so much for tuning in, and congratulations to everybody that won a prize tonight. We’ll be back with more on Friday, when a staggering £167 million is up for grabs.

21:55 - The estimated EuroMillions jackpot for Friday 20th September will be £167 million – the largest EuroMillions jackpot of 2019, and the largest to ever be offered in the UK! With just three days to get your tickets sorted, now’s a better time than ever to get in on the action and join a syndicate.

21:52 - The prize breakdown for the UK is now available to see – more than 719,000 UK entries won prizes, out of 2.5 million winning entries across Europe. Take a look at the results page to find out more.

21:35 - A reminder that the jackpot cap is €190 million, so the top prize on Friday is not expected to quite reach that amount but it could do if there are high ticket sales. Once the jackpot hits its cap, it can only stay at €190 million for a maximum of four draws before it has to be won in the following draw. Here’s more on how the jackpot cap works.

21:14 - The UK Millionaire Maker code for tonight’s draw is: VPDG92834. One lucky player has matched this code exactly, and won £1 million!

21:07 - While we wait for the full prize amounts, here are the top three prize tiers from all of Europe:

Match 5 + 2 Lucky Stars: 0 winners. Match 5 + 1 Lucky Star: 7 winners. Match 5: 10 winners

Two of those seven Match 5 + 1 winners came from the UK, while there were also four UK winners in the Match 5 category.

21:00 - It’s a rollover! Across all nine participating countries, nobody managed to match all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars to clinch the jackpot. The jackpot rolls over for the 17th time. The next EuroMillions jackpot is estimated to be €188 million (GBP amount forthcoming).

20:58 - If you have won a prize in tonight’s draw, the next step is getting your hands on the money. Find out how to claim EuroMillions winnings.

20:49 - Did you know that over 2.7 billion EuroMillions prizes have been won in the lottery’s 15-year history? Players in the UK have received £8.9 billion in total since EuroMillions began, and crowned 78 jackpot winners in the process. Could there be a 79th tonight? We’ll discover shortly whether the jackpot has been won or if it will roll over once again.

20:35 - Have those numbers made your day? If you’re not sure whether you have won a prize, use the Ticket Checker to find out.

20:24 - The wait is over and the results are in! Tonight’s winning EuroMillions numbers are: 22, 37, 43, 44, 45 and Lucky Stars 1 and 12. Visit the results page for more information.

20:17 - Are you as excited as a contestant on the Bake Off at the prospect of a Hollywood handshake? Or as nervous as Boris Johnson before a vote in the House of Commons? Either way, don’t worry, the results will be announced within minutes!

20:07 - If you stacked £155 million in £1 coins, you would have a tower of pounds over 488km tall – 25 percent longer than the River Thames.

19:50 - Ticket sales have now closed, and the results for tonight’s draw are around half an hour away. Be sure to have your tickets ready!

19:30 - Tonight’s nine-figure sum represents a colossal amount of purchasing power – you might well run out of ideas before you run out of money. To put it in perspective: if you hired the Rolling Stones to play a private concert just for you, it would cost only 4 percent of the jackpot!

19:15 - If a single player from the UK clinches tonight’s top prize, they’ll be the UK’s second-biggest EuroMillions jackpot winner! The current jackpot has overtaken famous EuroMillions winners Adrian and Gillian Bayford, who scooped £148.6 million in 2012. Though the jackpot had reached its cap of €190 million, the exchange rate at the time resulted in a reduced jackpot for the Suffolk couple.

18:53 - Though the jackpot is estimated to be £155 million, its actual size could be even larger. Estimates are made based on how many tickets are expected to be sold, so the more tickets that are sold, the larger tonight’s jackpot could be. The estimate has already been increased once today, from £152 million - becoming the largest EuroMillions prize of 2019! The previous top spot went to a £152.2 million jackpot, which was won in February by an Irish syndicate.

18:20 - The most expensive season tickets in the Premier League are Tottenham Hotspur’s, at £1,995 per head. £155 million would be enough to buy 77,000 of them – 15,000 more than there are seats in the stadium!

17:53 - As EuroMillions jackpots get larger, the number of players also goes up – the draw on Friday 13th September saw more than 47 million entries purchased. Don’t miss out on your chance to take part tonight – ticket sales close at 7:30pm. Get your entries in now.

17:03 - Tonight’s jackpot is the result of 16 consecutive rollovers – the most a EuroMillions jackpot has ever rolled over!  It is one of the biggest prizes ever to be put up for grabs, though the jackpot still has room to grow up to its cap of €190 million.

15:50 - Hello, and welcome to the live blog for the EuroMillions draw on Tuesday 17th September. After last Friday’s draw saw no one scoop a tremendous £145 million jackpot, tonight’s top prize has been estimated at £155 million! Players across Europe have their fingers crossed for tonight being their lucky night; could it be yours?
