EuroMillions Rollover Pattern Continues

In our previous news item we highlighted the fact that in recent weeks (actually since June) every EuroMillions jackpot win has been followed by a rollover in the very next game. That pattern continued this week when no ticket was able to land the €15 million jackpot on Tuesday, creating a rollover jackpot for Friday that is estimated to be worth around €26 million (around £21 million). Whether that jackpot will be won or whether a series of rollovers develops from here remains to be seen, so anyone who wants a shot at winning would do well to buy tickets sooner rather than later.

For those of you who haven’t yet checked your tickets, the EuroMillions results on Tuesday 11 September were 06, 15, 22, 37 and 44, and the Lucky Stars were 02 and 04. As in the previous game last Friday, seven tickets won a second-tier prize by matching the five main numbers and one Lucky Star, and this time those prizes were worth €150,407 each. 13 tickets matched the five main numbers only to win €26,996 (£19,192) each and 50 tickets won €3,509 (£2,495) each after matching four of the main numbers and both Lucky Stars. Over 1.7 million prizes were won overall, and in the UK one player landed a prize of £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number TJH389116.

Regular readers who take an interest in our EuroMillions Statistics may have noticed that one of the main numbers drawn on Tuesday (the number 22) had been highlighted as one that was most overdue to make an appearance. The most overdue main numbers now are 09, 41, 47, 32 and 40, and the most overdue Lucky Stars are 01 and 09.

In the EuroMillions Plus game in Ireland, it was very interesting to see that three of the five numbers drawn were exactly the same as three of the five main EuroMillions numbers. The EuroMillions Plus results were 06, 15, 23, 34 and 37. No player matched all five of those numbers, but 37 tickets matched four of them to win €2,000 each and another 1,233 tickets won 20 each by matching three.

Well done to everyone who won a prize of any kind on Tuesday, and good luck to everyone who has a go at landing the €26 million rollover jackpot in the EuroMillions game this Friday. Buy your tickets online today and you just might have reason to spend the weekend celebrating the win of a lifetime!
