The jackpot-winner wasn’t the only person with something to celebrate on Friday. Nine tickets matched all five main numbers as well as one Lucky Star to win a second-tier consolation prize of €193,014 (£137,753) each. Another 15 tickets won €38,603 (£27,551) each by matching five main numbers only, and 105 tickets matched four of the main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars to win €2,757 (£1,968) each. The total number of EuroMillions prizes won on Friday was 3,185,595, and one player in the UK won £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number VJN265623.
In our previous news item we highlighted the most overdue numbers for the EuroMillions game and it was good to see one of those numbers (the Lucky Star number 09) actually being drawn. The most overdue numbers to consider for the next game are the main numbers 09, 41, 47, 32 and 40, and the Lucky Star numbers 01 and 08. For those who prefer to follow the most often picked numbers, the main numbers to consider are 50, 12, 04, 19 and 38, as well as the Lucky Star numbers 03 and 05.
Irish lottery fans will be interested to hear that the EuroMillions Plus results on Friday were 06, 22, 23, 26 and 48, and that one ticket won the top prize of €500,000 by matching all five of those numbers. 37 tickets matched four numbers to win €2,000 each and 1,999 tickets won the smallest prize of €20 each by matching three numbers.
We would like to congratulate all players who won any kind of prize in the EuroMillions game on Friday, and the Spanish jackpot winner in particular. And for anyone who fancies trying to win a jackpot of their own, visit this page to buy your EuroMillions tickets online and good luck!
