EuroMillions Rolls Again
25th January 2010 9:50 AM
EuroMillions players who enjoy the excitement and massive prizes that rollovers offer will be pleased to learn that the jackpot has rolled over again. Two weeks ago a triple rollover jackpot was won by two players, so the jackpot for last Friday 22 January was reset to the €15 million level. However, no player matched all five main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars that are required to win the jackpot, so EuroMillions rolls again and gives players a shot at a €28 million jackpot (around £25 million) this Friday 29 January!
The EuroMillions results for last Friday 22 January were 04, 22, 27, 36 and 44, and the two Lucky Star numbers were 07 and 09. As usual, with twelve tiers of prizes in total, the fact that the jackpot eluded players didn’t stop plenty of people making a very good profit last week.
Four players matched the five main numbers and one of the Lucky Star numbers to win €770,285 (around £674,895) each. Another ten players matched the five main numbers only and won €87,438 (around £57,670) each. Yet another 112 players matched four of the main numbers and both Lucky Star numbers to win €5,576 (around £3,678) each!
In total, more than 1.71 million EuroMillions prizes were won last Friday, and when you consider that one EuroMillions tickets costs less than a decent cup of coffee, we think that players who happen to win one of them are getting exceptional value for money!
As we said earlier, the jackpot for this Friday 29 January will be worth around £25 million. If you need inspiration for your entries then the EuroMillions statistics reveal that the most overdue main numbers are 01, 03, 48, 02 and 10, whilst the most overdue Lucky Star numbers are 06 and 01.
