EuroMillions Superdraw Announced for Friday 5th December

The third and final Superdraw of 2025 will take place on Friday 5th December, offering a jackpot of €130 million (approximately £110 million).

It has been a year of huge jackpots and record wins, and the impending special event promises to round off 2025 in fine style. As usual with a Superdraw, the jackpot does not have to be won on the night - if nobody matches all the numbers, it will roll over to the next draw.

Three lucky players have already landed the maximum €250 million jackpot this year, with the first one happening in March after a Superdraw a few weeks earlier. The prize went to an anonymous Austrian, who had purchased four tips online for €10.

A family syndicate from Cork in Ireland equalled the record in June. The jackpot rolled all the way from its starting value of €17 million to its €250 million cap - which meant that a planned Superdraw had to be shelved because the jackpot had already grown higher than €130 million - and a Must Be Won draw was looming before the Irish win.

Remarkably, the very next jackpot cycle saw the top prize reach €250 million again. This time, it was a French participant who eventually bought a winning ticket on 19th August.

The second Superdraw of the year took place on 26th September and ended up with a winner at the first time of asking, as a player from Belgium matched all the numbers to pocket €130 million.

Now, there is a chance that the December Superdraw will create even more history. It could be won on the night or it will keep rising until there is a winner - or until it hits €250 million again. If it does roll over, it is likely to reach its cap around Christmas time.

The odds of winning in a Superdraw are the same as for any other draw, as the mechanics of the game do not change at all. You are still required to choose five numbers from 1 to 50, plus two Lucky Stars between 1 and 12.

You may decide to choose those numbers at random via a Lucky Dip or Quick Pick, or perhaps use the latest statistics to base your selections on current trends. The only way to actually boost your chances of winning is to buy more entries, so maybe it is time to consider a syndicate of friends or family so that you can split the cost of playing multiple lines.

Regardless of how you decide to play, you need to be in the draw to have a shot at winning. Pick up tickets from an authorised retailer in one of the participating countries, or choose your numbers online.
