4th February 2015 11:49 AM
Calling all EuroMillions fans - another Superdraw has been announced for Friday 6th March 2015, with a bumper jackpot worth €100 million (estimated £75.5 million). Superdraws are held on occasion throughout the year and always offer an enhanced top prize regardless of the value of the jackpot in the previous draw. The premise is simple; the game stays the same while the top prize is usually set at €100 million.
The last Superdraw was held on Friday 3rd October 2014 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of several countries joining EuroMillions. The Superdraw jackpot then rolled over until it hit the set jackpot cap of €190 million for the draw on Friday 24th October 2014. A single ticket holder from Portugal scooped the lot.
Prior to that, a Superdraw scheduled for Friday 6th June 2014 was postponed after the jackpot rolled over and exceeded the predicted value of €100 million. A single player from Spain snapped up €137 million a week later on Friday 13th June. In March 2014, Neil Trotter grabbed a Superdraw jackpot worth £107.9 million that had rolled over from Friday 7th March 2014.
