EuroMillions Superdraw Jackpot Won in the UK

A player from the United Kingdom won the EuroMillions Superdraw jackpot on Friday night, instantly becoming €130 million richer. Find out all about one of the biggest wins of the year and everything that happened in the Superdraw.

Winning Superdraw Numbers

The winning EuroMillions numbers for the Superdraw on Friday 4th June were 7, 20, 36, 40 and 46, with Lucky Stars 2 and 4.

The big event put up a jackpot of €130 million and sparked a surge in ticket sales all over Europe, and it was revealed shortly after the draw that a single ticket had matched all seven numbers.

It was also a great night for millions of players who won in the other prize categories. Check out the EuroMillions Results page for a full prize breakdown. You’ll also find details of the Millionaire Maker draw, plus a rundown of all the results for the different participating countries.

The country where the jackpot-winning ticket was announced later on Friday. It is now up to the lucky player to come forward and claim their prize. They will then have to decide whether to go public with their story or stay anonymous.

Superdraw Winners

These Super Jackpot events only take place a few times a year. They use money from the Reserve Fund so that the top prize can be guaranteed, even if the jackpot value is much lower in the preceding draw.

The last Superdraw was held in February and set the platform for what turned out to be the biggest EuroMillions win in history. The jackpot grew from €130 million to its maximum amount of €210 million in just two and a half weeks, before a single ticket holder from Switzerland banked the lot.

The final Superdraw of 2020 also helped to create a record, with a player from France pocketing €200 million just a few weeks later.

Friday’s jackpot ranks as the second-largest of 2021. It is the seventh time the top prize has been won this year.

When will the next Superdraw be?

The date of the next Superdraw has not yet been announced. The participating national lotteries will decide between them when one should be staged. It’s unlikely you’ll have to wait too long, though, as there is a commitment to holding at least three every year, and last year there were four.

There have already been two within the first six months of 2021. There has only ever been one Superdraw in July and there has never been one in August, but September is historically the most popular month for staging such events.

Keep checking Euro-Millions.com for the date of the next Superdraw as soon as it is revealed, as well as more information about the latest winner. In the meantime you can enjoy draws every Tuesday and Friday. Take part online now or visit an authorised retailer in one of the participating countries.
