Get Ready for the Next EuroMillions Superdraw on 20 February, 2026

The next EuroMillions Superdraw has been confirmed, offering lottery players a guaranteed jackpot of €130 million (about £110 million).

When is the EuroMillions Superdraw?

Hold onto your hats (or lottery tickets), because the next EuroMillions Superdraw is on 20th February, 2026. This upcoming Superdraw is the first of 2026, and the first since 5th December 2025. It’s an exciting time for EuroMillions players, as it raises the payout significantly. As mentioned, €130 million is guaranteed, but this is merely the starting point of the EuroMillons Superdraw. It can go as high as €250 million.

What Is the EuroMillions Superdraw?

The EuroMillions Superdraw is a special event where the regular EuroMillions jackpot shoots up to dream figures thanks to the accumulated funds of the Reserve Fund — this is where the prize comes from, rather than ticket sales. Here’s how it works:

As regular EuroMillions draws take place, the Reserve Fund takes a small percentage of each prize fund. The purpose of this is to ensure that the minimum jackpot can always be offered, but it builds over time and eventually means that events with big ol’ prizes like the upcoming Superdraw can happen.

In this case, the Reserve Fund has accumulated enough money for a €130 million Superdraw to be offered.

How It Works

Superdraws are exactly the same as regular EuroMillions draws — same rules, same same quantity of drawn numbers — the single difference is that the jackpot is guaranteed to be won.

If the regular jackpot happens to climb past €130 million before the Superdraw, don’t worry — the big prize will still be up for grabs, it’s just that it rolls on as a regular draw instead. The lottery officials may then line up another Superdraw at a later date, depending on the Reserve Fund. So while the timing of the next Superdraw isn’t set in stone, one thing’s for sure: there’s still a massive jackpot to play for.

There are currently four Superdraws projected this year, and now there’s confirmation of the first one. Based on recent years, the remaining special events in 2026 could take place in June, September and December, although the participating National Lotteries will need to track the jackpot before finalising plans.

What if Nobody Wins the Jackpot?

If there are no winners in the first draw, the jackpot rolls over to the next draw and continues until the top cash prize is won or reaches the jackpot cap of €250 million. Once the jackpot reaches the jackpot cap, it can stay at this number for four draws in a row. If it’s not won within these draws, it will be shared amongst the winners of the next highest prize tier.

Due to this, the Superdraw can create some of the biggest wins in your region. For instance, the most recent Superdraw (December 2025) created a Belgian jackpot winner who banked €142,433,804.

Enter the Superdraw!

With odds of 1 in 139,838,160, the chances of winning may seem slight, but in the words of your fathers and grandfathers, someone has to! You can enter by visiting your local licensed lottery retailer or by entering online — or by using our EuroMillions lottery app.

The draw costs €2.50 for a single line of numbers and €5.00 if you want to enter the same line into two draws. Just be certain to check your ticket after the draw has concluded — you’d be amazed at how many lottery prizes go unclaimed every year.

Enjoy!
