The extra £1 million prizes will be given away through a special edition of the Millionaire Maker. You are automatically entered into this raffle whenever you buy a ticket in the UK, with the alphanumeric code (four letters and five numbers) printed below your numbers for the main EuroMillions draw.
In a standard draw, one code is selected at random as the winner. The lucky ticket holder who matches all the letters and numbers in exact order receives a seven-figure prize.
From time to time, though, the UK National Lottery holds this kind of promotion where multiple players win. You don’t have to do anything different to take part - the cost of entry is still the same - but the odds of winning are increased considerably.
You still receive one raffle code for each set of numbers you play (one misconception among some fans is that you get 10), but the difference is that 10 winning codes are drawn.
The exact odds of winning vary from draw to draw as they depend on how many tickets are played, but Friday’s draw gives you 10 chances to become a millionaire through the raffle instead of one.
The last time a Millionaire Maker draw of this type took place was just a couple of weeks ago on 2nd January to celebrate the start of 2026. Use the EuroMillions Checker to review your raffle codes as well as your numbers for the main draw.
No Jackpots Yet in 2026
You can win a raffle prize and a EuroMillions prize on the same night, and Friday’s draw offers the opportunity to land a huge £66 million (€77 million).
The jackpot has not yet been won this year, having been climbing steadily since a Spanish player landed €54 million (£47 million) on 26th December to become the 14th and final winner of 2025.
It was a momentous year for EuroMillions in 2025, with the three largest jackpots in history paid out, and it promises to be an even bigger 2026 with proposed changes on the way in September.
For now, you can take part in the next draw by choosing your numbers online or visiting a local retailer in any of the nine participating countries.
