One ticket matched all five main numbers and both Luck Star numbers to win the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 28 November, 2008. The lucky winner scooped a prize of €28,044,446 (around £23,209,583), virtually guaranteeing them their most prosperous festive season ever.

A further eight players were celebrating after matching five main numbers and just one of the Lucky stars to win €377,066 (around £322,889), and sixteen players (including one in Belgium) matched the five main numbers only to win €53,502 (around £45,814).

The EuroMillions results for Friday 28 November were 8, 11, 16, 25 and 41. The two Lucky Star numbers were 2 and 4. The jackpot for the next draw on Friday 06 December has now been reset to €15 million (around £12.8 million).
