"I recently lost my job so we have been under a lot of pressure financially with Christmas fast approaching,” he said. “This win is a huge relief for us all. EuroMillions Plus is a popular game for Irish players which gives ticket holders a second chance to win great prizes if they opt to have their numbers entered into another draw for a small additional fee. All nine participating EuroMillions countries have their own special draws alongside the main game and, in the UK, the second part of December’s Mega Week will take place on Friday night.
There will be another five guaranteed prizes of £1 million in the Millionaire Maker, with each lucky winner getting the opportunity to jet off to a luxury Swiss chalet. The EuroMillions jackpot also stands at £14 million (€17 million), for what is the last chance to play the game before Christmas and land a fortune like the dad from Dublin. Good luck!
